COVID-19

About COVID-19

COVID-19 most often causes respiratory symptoms that can feel much like a cold, the flu, or pneumonia. COVID-19 may attack more than your lungs and respiratory system. Other parts of your body may also be affected by the disease. Most people with COVID-19 have mild symptoms, but some people become severely ill or develop post-COVID conditions, also called "Long COVID."

COVID-19 Vaccines

Updated (2025-2026) COVID-19 are now available! Moderna COVID-19 vaccines are available for all people age 6 months and older. Vaccines are covered by Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance, and the Vaccines for Children program for children who are uninsured. Administration fees may apply. Uninsured adults must cover the cost of vaccination. Please bring insurance cards with you to the appointment if paying with insurance. Call us at 919-560-7608 to schedule! Walk-ins currently not accepted for COVID-19 vaccines.

COVID-19 Tests

Unfortunately, due to the end of a federal program that allowed us to supply COVID-19 tests, we are no longer able to provide free tests for pickup in our building. To find more information on testing sites, test-to-treat locations, and home test pickup, visit the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services testing portal at covid19.ncdhhs.gov/FindTests (en español aquí).
