On Site Water Protection

Introduction

The Onsite Water Protection section provides regulatory oversight and enforcement of the laws and rules governing onsite wastewater (septic) systems, private drinking and irrigation water wells, and public swimming pools.

Services provided by the section include:

• Site evaluations for septic and well permits
• Septic system and well construction inspections
• Well water testing
• Public Swimming pool plan reviews and inspections
• Complaint investigations related to septic systems, wells, public swimming pools, and rats
