What We Do

The Durham County Department of Public Health offers programs for families and children that focus on how parents and caregivers can help keep both their loved ones and themselves healthy and safe. There are nearly 35,000 children from birth through age 8 in Durham County. We believe each and every child deserves to grow up in a community where they can thrive.
