County Stadium
What We Do
Durham County Memorial Stadium, established in 1958, serves as a key venue for sports and entertainment in the Durham Community. Home to Shaw University Bears Athletics, the Carolina Flyers (UFA), and Tobacco Road FC (USL-2), the stadium regularly hosts significant events including the 2024 NAIA Football National Championship Game.
With new amenities including the Daktronics Video Scoreboard and recently updated Astroturf Field, and track surface, the stadium is a preferred location for a variety of events, ranging from sports competitions to community activities.
