Pharmacy
Services Offered
- Our pharmacy fills prescriptions for patients seen in the Health Department (Adult Health, Tuberculosis, Family Planning, Maternal Health, and Dental Clinics)
- Medications are provided free or at low cost based on a sliding scale fee determined by income
Medication Disposal
- Unwanted or expired medications can be disposed of in the medication drop box located in the front entrance of the Human Services Building
Naloxone
- Used to reverse an opioid overdose
- Available for free from our Pharmacy or Public Health vending machine (located in the front entrance of the Human Services Building)
- Organizations who are interested in distributing naloxone in the community may be eligible to receive free naloxone kits. Contact us for more information.
Safe Syringe Program (SSP)
- Sterile syringes and naloxone are available as part of our ongoing Harm Reduction efforts to alleviate communicable diseases and opioid overdoses in our community
- Hours of distribution:
Tuesdays & Thursdays 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Wednesdays & Fridays 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM - Anonymous and free of charge
- Sharps can safely be disposed of in the pharmacy. Please bring them in a Sharps or hard-sided plastic container (such as a laundry detergent bottle)
