Talent Acquisition
The mission of the Human Resources Talent Acquisition team is to attract, engage, and hire exceptional talent by delivering a strategic, inclusive, and efficient recruitment experience. We partner with departments to understand their workforce needs, provide expert guidance on market-competitive compensation, and ensure a seamless onboarding process that supports long-term organizational success. Some of the core functions of this division include:
- Managing the entire hiring process from job posting to onboarding.
- Developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Sourcing candidates through job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
- Reviewing applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
- Assisting hiring managers by conducting phone screens, interviews, and structured interview panels.
- Providing salary recommendations based on internal equity, market data, and budget constraints.
- Collaborating with the Classification and Compensation division to ensure offers align with pay policies.
- Preparing and extending formal job offers and negotiates terms when needed.
- Initiating and completing all new hire administrative processes including:
- Offer letters
- Background checks
- Onboarding paperwork
- System entries (e.g., HRIS or payroll systems)
- Ensuring compliance with legal and organizational hiring standards.
- Acting as a strategic partner to hiring managers to:
- Develop job descriptions with the assistance of the Classification and Compensation Team
- Clarify hiring needs and timelines
- Recommend recruiting strategies
- Providing guidance on hiring best practices, interview techniques, and candidate evaluation.
