Report Abuse or Neglect

Anyone who suspects a child is being abused, neglected, and /or dependent and who are imminent risk of harm due to actions by the child’s parent or caretaker should report this to Durham County Social Services. Reports may be submitted anonymously.

Report Fraud

Contact Durham County Department of Social Services if you suspect that someone is committing fraud or abusing one of the following programs: Food and Nutrition Services, Work First Cash Assistance, Medicaid, or Child Care Subsidy
