Special Assistance In-Home

SPECIAL ASSISTANCE IN-HOME

 

  • Do you need adult care home or assisted living care but want to remain in your residence?
  • Do you now live in an adult care home, or in assisted living and wish to return to your residence, but need financial assistance?

Durham County provides Medicaid eligible clients with a Special Assistance payment that will supplement their income so they may remain in their homes. Clients must meet eligibility requirements. A funtional assessment will be needed.
