2024 - District received ‘Conservation Technical District of the Year’ award from NCASWCD.
2023 - Durham County received the '2023 Civic Excellence in Innovation Award' from NCACC. The program is administrated by the Soil and Water Conservation Department.
2023 - Supervisor David Harris received the 'Supervisor of the Year' award from NCASWCD.
