Envirothon
What is Envirothon?
The Envirothon is an exciting, hands-on natural resource education competition for middle school and high school students. Teams of 3-5 students study, train, and test their knowledge of five subject areas:
- Soils
- Wildlife
- Aquatics
- Foresty
- Current Environmental Issues.
The Envirothon consists of a series of competitions with winning teams advancing to the next division.
Through outdoor activities, teamwork, critical thinking, leadership skills training, and more, the Envirothon program is developing tomorrow’s informed leaders.
How to Participate

Middle school teams are composed of students in grades 5-8. High school teams are composed of students in grades 9-12. Two optional alternates are allowed. The team must have at least 1 volunteer advisor. Multiple teams (consiting of different members) under the same advisor or school are allowed. View full rules and details for the Area IV Envirothon
