Invite us to present at your summer camp! We work with pre-k - 12th grade camps in Durham County, and lessons can be hosted indoors or outdoors. Examples of lessons we've hosted for summer camps include:

  • Exploring habitats and interdependence.
  • Learning about common NC mammals and their adaptations without our set of skulls and pelts.
  • Finding out how to read tree rings, markings, and simulate the life of a tree through a game.
  • Exploring water quality through stream studies or hands-on models.
  • and more!

We can host lessons on a variety of natural resource topics. To schedule a presentation, contact us at 919-560-0558, esenff@dconc.gov, lmarochak@dconc.gov, or use the form below to submit a request.
