Energy Burden & Emissions Reduction Program (EBERP)
A Neighborhood Approach to Home Energy Savings!

 Welcome to EBERP!

EBERP stands for the "Energy Burden and Emissions Reduction Program." EBERP is a collaboration between Durham, Granville, and Orange counties funded by a $1.5 million dollar grant awarded by the Department of Energy, running from 2024 through 2027. This program is thoughtfully designed to help community members in neighborhoods across all three counties by providing energy efficiency services and energy education. Learn more below!

 1. Energy-saving upgrades for your home        
 2. Small home repairs for comfort & safety           
 3. Do-it-yourself (DIY) workshops & energy education
 4. Opportunities for neighborhood leadership
 5. Trained & trusted contractors to do the work   

                      

Who Can Apply for EBERP? 

  Households who:   

•       Live in Durham, Granville, or Orange County
•       Live in a single-family, duplex, or mobile home
•       Own or rent (renters need permission from the property owner)
