Sustainability Blog

Welcome to the DCo Sustainability Blog!

The Durham County Sustainability Team publishes a blog for County employees and Durham community members every 1-2 months, with a spotlight on varied sustainability-related topics delivered in a fun format that includes simple tips, local resources, and creative ideas about how to live more thoughtfully in our communities - with the wonderful planet in mind. We aim for the Blog to be relatable, accessible, educational, inspiring, and action-oriented. We invite you to read the blogs, engage, and invite your coworkers, family members, and neighbors to join you in taking the recommended actions. Happy reading!

If you have suggestions for a future Sustainability Blog topic, or a related resource to share, we welcome you to email Sustainability Specialist, Megan Pendell, at mpendell@dconc.gov with your ideas!
