 JUSTICE INVOLVED INDIVIDUALS

Currently Incarcerated

Are you currently incarcerated and in need of reentry services upon release to Durham County? The Local Reentry Council is here to help!

The LRC works with clients who are within 6 months of release, and has a Durham County home plan.

The LRC is a coalition of providers that offer reentry services including but not limited to; employment assistance / job readiness training, substance use disorder treatment, transportation assistance, mental health referrals transitional/ short-term housing assistance, child-care assistance, and other basic needs.

Correctional case managers are our primary referral source. However, we do accept clients who contact us directly.

Once the case manager contacts us, our LRC Coordinator will determine eligibility and begin assessing your reentry needs. To learn more about the process visit the "What We Do" page.
