Host an Event

The stadium site has multiple spaces available for rental. Rates and fees are subject to change and the Stadium Manager can provide an event estimate upon request.  Contact the Stadium Manager for additional information regarding date availability or other facility rental questions.

EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2026

 

Rental Application

All vendors must submit a completed and signed Rental Application to the Stadium Manager for review and availability confirmation. Requests for facility use will not be accepted without a fully exected application.

Tentative Hold 

Upon email from Stadium Manager confirming that dates are available, a tentative hold will be place on the requested dates. Tentative hold do not guarantee a reservation. To confirm the dates, a non-refundable payment of $150 for a Category 1 rental or $250 for a Category 2 rental is required with seven (7) days of email receipt. this payment will be applied as a credit toward the final event balance. Failure to meet this deadline may result in release of the dates.

Contract

Once the tentative hold is confirmed, a contract will be prepared and sent via DocuSign. The contract must be signed and returned within seven (7) days of receipt. Failure to meet this deadline may result in termination of the contract and release of the reserved dates.

Event Deposit 

After the contract is fully executed and you received the fully executed contract, the event deposit listed on the inovice must be submitted with seven (7) days. Failure to submit payment within this timeframe may result in termination of the contract.

Final Event Payment 

Final payment for the event should be submitted with seven (7) days prior to the event. Failure to submit payment within this timeframe may result in termination of the contract.

Crowd Manager Fees Crowd manager staff will be determined by stadium management based on your estimated attendance listed on the application form and crowd dynamics. The current staffing rate is $28 per hour per person and is in addition to any Deputies supplied by the Sheriff's Office. The NCDOI standard is 1 crowd manager per 250 people. This Fee will be added to your invoice

Event Security
  • Security is a separate fee to the Durham County Sherriff's Office Contact Lieutenant Harris regarding current rate and billing

  • Event security is required for all events in the stadium and must be paid before the event 
Restrooms Restrooms are not included for Turf Field or Track Practices rentals. A pair of restrooms will cost $150 per rental date this fee will be applied to your invoice. If you require more than an additional fee will be applied.
Parking Parking lot is included in your rental of a half or full stadium. It is on the renter to manage the parking lot for the event and is responsible for anything that happens in the parking lot. Also responsible for cleanup the parking lot after the event. If you plan to charge for parking for your event a fee will be applied to your invoice. The fee will be $170 per rental date
Post Event Cleaning  Post event clean fee will be applied to your invoice. This included all the spaces in the stadium and parking lot 
Additional Information

Setup Day – 25% of Maximum Daily Rental Fee if your event requires a dedicated Load-in and/or Load-Out Period

Concessions and Merchandise is fully controlled by Durham County Stadium. Contact Stadium Management for additional questions, fees will apply.

  • No access to restrooms or other stadium amenities
Included Amenities with  Parking Lot Rentals
  • Parking lot space to be coordinated with Stadium Manager
  • Does not include access to stadium restrooms.  Stadium restrooms access can be had for an additional fee.
Included Amenities with  Concourse Rental
  • Group will only have access to the stadium’s concourse.  
  • This includes access to the stadium’s restrooms & concessions.
Scoreboard and Video Content

Durham County Stadium is equipped with a Daktronics Video and Scoreboard System. Basic Timing, Public Address Announcements and Scoring are included in the rental fee of the stadium. Event Organizer will provide staffing. Stadium management reserves the right to stop broadcasting content through the Audio-Visual System if it is deemed inappropriate or is being used improperly.

Event Specific Content – Content Entry to System $350 per event per day which can include team information, vendor logo, but no company advertisement logo. All content should be given to stadium staff 48 hours before the event. Contact Stadium Staff for additional information.

 

Rights Durham County Stadium Authority reserves the right to set additional policies and content requirements regarding operation of the stadium. Check with the Stadium Manager regarding any policy updates. The Event Organizer holds the rights to any content that is utilized as part of their event. All event organizers will need to provide a certificate of insurance.
