DURHAM RESIDENTS INVITED TO PROVIDE INPUT ON THE BIKE+WALK DRAFT PLAN

DURHAM, N.C. - The City and County of Durham are inviting residents to help shape the future of biking, walking, and rolling in their communities by providing feedback on the Durham Bike + Walk Draft Plan, now available for public comment (Durham Bike+Walk Plan Update | ENGAGE Durham).
This plan outlines a vision for safer, more connected active transportation options across Durham and includes 75 priority projects:
- 25 corridor improvements
- 25 intersection upgrades
- 25 micro-gap connections
In addition to infrastructure recommendations, the plan includes new policy guidance including sidewalk delivery in the City of Durham and sidewalk maintenance in Durham County.
