Veteran Services to Offer Limited Services from September 21 – 25

Durham, N.C. – Residents seeking assistance from Durham County Veteran Services from Monday, September 21 through Friday, September 25, 2026, should note that limited services will be available while staff attend their annual accreditation training. The office will resume full service on Monday, September 28 at 8:30 a.m.
During this limited services period, Veteran Services staff will continue to assist customers by phone at 919-560-8387, by email at veteranservices@dconc.gov, or in person at 201 N. Roxboro Street, Durham, NC 27701. Appointments with a Veteran Services Officer will be unavailable until the office resumes regular hours.
If veterans need immediate assistance with applying for Veteran Affairs Healthcare, contact the Durham VA Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton Street, or call 919-286-0411. Assistance with filing a Compensation or Pension claim is available to veterans by calling the United States Department of Veterans Affairs VA Call Center at 800-827-1000.
