2026-2027 COVID-19 Vaccines Now Available at DCoDPH

Durham, NC - The Durham County Department of Public Health (DCoDPH) is now offering appointments for updated Moderna COVID-19 vaccines (2026-2027 formula) for all people age six months and older. Vaccinations are available by appointment, or by walk-in as schedule and supply permit. Appointments are preferred. Appointments can be made by calling 919-560-7608. Who is eligible to be vaccinated?
All people age six months and older may be vaccinated at DCoDPH.
Which vaccine brands are available?
We are offering Moderna COVID-19 vaccines. We are not expecting to receive additional COVID-19 vaccine brands.
Are vaccines available for free?
Vaccines are covered by Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance for children and adults, and by the Vaccines for Children program for children who are uninsured. Administration fees may apply. Please bring your insurance card with you to your appointment if you are insured. Adults who are uninsured must cover the cost of their vaccination.
Who should be vaccinated?
COVID-19 vaccines offer protection against serious illness and death from COVID-19 for all people age 6 months and older, with or without underlying medical conditions. Vaccination is recommended regardless of previous doses or infections.
