Durham County Releases Registration Repair Dashboard

September 3, 2025

Durham, NC – The Durham County Board of Elections has released a Registration Repair Dashboard, a visual report that specifically highlights the 4,000+ Durham County voters affected by the North Carolina State Board of Elections (NCSBE) Registration Repair Project.

The Registration Repair Project is a statewide effort led by the NCSBE to update voter records by collecting missing identification numbers.

The Durham County Registration Repair Dashboard allows residents to view a list of voters who must provide their N.C. driver’s license/DMV ID number or the last four digits of their Social Security Number to election officials. On August 18, 2025, the NCSBE began mailing letters to impacted voters providing them with details on how to update their voter registration record.

“The Registration Repair Dashboard, created by staff, provides a Durham County–specific resource for residents. It is intended to support affected voters in updating their voter registration record alongside the correspondence issued by the State Board of Elections”, says Board of Elections Chairman David Boone.

The dashboard will be updated hourly during regular business hours and serves as a resource for voters to stay updated on the status of their voter record.

To view the dashboard, visit the ‘Registration’ page of our website at dcovotes.com. To learn more about the project, visit the NCSBE website at www.ncsbe.gov/registrationrepair.
