Durham County RYSE Assessment Center to Close Temporarily on July 2

Durham, N.C. – The Durham County Resources for Youth Success & Empowerment (RYSE) Center facility will be closed temporarily for walk-in appointments on Wednesday, July 2, 2025. The building will undergo necessary maintenance during the closure. The RYSE Center, located at 2432 Broad Street, will reopen with normal business hours on Thursday, July 3.
Staff will be available to answer phone calls and emails during this closure. You can contact staff at 919-560-7661 or ryse@dconc.gov.
The Resources for Youth Success & Empowerment (RYSE) Assessment Center provides a non-threatening, inclusive atmosphere for parents who are simply looking for information for their youth who are exhibiting social, emotional, or behavioral challenges. The RYSE Assessment Center is a community-focused program that connects youth and their families to a plethora of resources in Durham County.
Youth ages 10-17 and their families will have an opportunity to work with staff to create a plan that aids their growth and meets their needs. The Center is not a service provider, but a resource hub for Durham residents to collaborate with local programs and organizations.
Please note, the Center will be closed again on Friday, July 4 as Durham County Government observes the Independence Day holiday. It will return to normal business hours on Monday, July 7.
