Durham County Launches New Digital Platform for Property Tax Payments

Durham County Government is pleased to announce the launch of PayDCoNC, a new digital platform that makes it easier for residents to manage and pay property taxes online. PayDCoNC is available now at pay.dconc.gov.
Durham County's 2026 property taxes are due September 1st. Citizens have until January 5th to pay without interest. Residents with outstanding property tax balances can use pay.dconc.gov to pay past-due bills at their convenience — no office visit or phone call required.
"Our office is dedicated to providing Durham County residents with accessible, reliable services, and PayDCoNC is a significant step forward in that effort,” said Keyar Doyle, Durham County Tax Assessor. “Whether you're paying a past-due balance today or setting up a scheduled payment ahead of our upcoming tax season, PayDCoNC gives you a secure, flexible way to stay on top of your property taxes — available on your time and from wherever you are."
PayDCoNC gives residents the flexibility to manage property taxes in a way that works for their schedule and budget. The platform includes:
- Web access: Residents can pay anytime, anywhere from a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer
- Scheduled payments: Residents can set a future payment date to make sure due dates are never missed
- Partial payments: Residents can pay in portions to spread out tax obligations in a way that fits their budget
Residents can pay as a guest or create a free account to securely store payment methods for faster checkout and access a complete view of their payment history at any time. For those who prefer other methods, payments can still be made by phone via Interactive Voice Response, by mail, or in person.
