Due to HVAC-related issues, the Durham County Administration I Building, located at 200 E. Main Street, closed at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.

There has been a change to the closing details originally posted on Wednesday afternoon. Due to HVAC-related issues, Admin I will now remain closed until Monday, July 22. While the building is closed, our General Services team will work to address the HVAC challenges.

The health and safety of Durham County's employees and residents coming to our facilities is a top priority, and for this reason we have closed the facility.

Employees who have offices in Admin I are working remotely during this closure to ensure that our services are not impacted.

Updated information will be provided at DCONC.GOV and on Durham County social media channels regarding the building and any additional schedule changes.
