Board of Elections to Conduct Logic & Accuracy Testing for the 2025 Municipal Primary Election

Durham, NC – The Durham County Board of Elections will begin conducting Logic and Accuracy (L&A) Testing at the Board of Elections facility on Thursday, September 4th, from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., as required by NCGS 163-33.2 and 08 NCAC 04.0307, for all voting equipment being used during the 2025 Municipal Primary Election. This testing will continue each subsequent day from 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. until completion.
L&A testing is a crucial step in preparing for an election, as the process ensures every machine that will be used during the election is correctly processing and tabulating results. This testing procedure is completed by bipartisan teams of election officials.
