NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING

Durham Planning Commission
Tuesday, February 24, 2026 – 5:30 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the special meeting and public hearing of the Durham Planning Commission, originally scheduled for Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., for the purpose of considering the proposed rewrite of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO), also known as the Land Development Code (LDC), has been CANCELED by direction of the Durham City Council and the Durham County Board of Commissioners.

The public hearing will be re‑calendared and re‑noticed at a later date.

In place of the public hearing, the Durham City‑County Planning Department will hold an Information Session on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The session will provide an overview of the current draft LDC, explain what it could mean for individual properties, and allow for questions and feedback.
