Durham County Government has approximately 43 active advisory boards referred to as Boards and Commissions. Citizens of Durham County may volunteer to participate by applying for a vacancy. Interested citizens may fill out an online application and submit it to the Clerk to the Board's Office. A description of the boards can be found on the "Apply Here" tab on the left. All applications submitted after the end of each month will be considered for upcoming vacancies and kept on file for one year. The list of vacancies (linked below) is updated at the beginning of each month.
