Dangerous Dog Appeal Board
What We Do
The Dangerous Dog Appeal Board is designated as the board to hear all reviews and appeals authorized by the Durham County Animal Control Ordinance. The Dangerous Dog Appeal Board was established by the Board of County Commissioners, pursuant to General Statute 67-4.1 (c). It is as a five-member board responsible for hearing the appeal of dog owners who have had their dogs declared dangerous or potentially dangerous.
