Hiking Trails
Hollow Rock Nature Park includes two natural-surface hiking trails. Click here for a trail map.
The easy 0.8-mile Headwaters Loop Trail begins at the main parking lot, crosses Pickett Road, and meanders through a scenic upland forest surrounding tributaries of New Hope Creek. This trail can also be accessed via spur trails from the Starling Woods and Solterra neighborhoods.
The easy 0.6-mile Hanging Rock Loop Trail begins at the main parking lot and takes visitors through an open play field before descending towards New Hope Creek and the northern end of the low-lying New Hope Bottomlands. A wetland next to New Hope Creek provides excellent opportunities for birding and wildlife viewing.
