Sarah P. Duke Gardens are alive with blooms! One of the premier gardens in the United States, Durham is blessed with an inspirational place for solitude, discovery, inspiration, and meditation. Often referred to as "the crown jewel of Duke University", Duke Gardens covers 55 acres of Duke's west campus.
With over 300,000 visitors a year, it's a top area attraction. Admission is free!
Hours of Operation
The Gardens are open every day of the year from 8 a.m. to dusk. Parking information is here.
The Doris Duke Center hours are as follows:
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday, noon to 5 p.m.

The Doris Duke Center is closed on the following holidays:
