What is DCo Thrives?
DCo Thrives is a guaranteed income pilot program. After applying, 125 eligible individuals will be randomly selected to receive $750 per month for 1 year. An additional 125 eligible individuals will be randomly selected to participate in the comparison group. Both the 125 stipend recipients and 125 comparison group participants will be offered the opportunity to receive an additional $100 a month for completing a research survey. The survey responses will help the County evaluate the impact that the $750 cash assistance has on participants.
Who is eligible?
This is a pilot program for Durham families. Eligible community members are low-income households with at least one child under the age of 18. Please continue to check this page for more information about eligibility requirements.
