Adult Care Facilities

We are responsible for monitoring Adult Care Homes to ensure licensure compliance, and the investigation of all licensure-related complaints. Our staff works diligently toward making sure that new adult care homes in Durham meet or exceed the standards of competence.

DCoDSS staff will provide case management services to Durham residents seeking placement into a nursing home or an adult care home, when they are unable to remain in their current living situation.
