Durham County Thank-A-Vet Campaign

Durham County Register of Deeds will kick off their campaign encouraging all veterans to record their military discharge documents on Thursday, November 15, 2018, 11:00am – 3:00pm. To show appreciation to veterans who participate in the campaign, the Register of Deeds will issue a “Thank-A-Vet” Photo ID. This photo identification will afford our Veteran’s a discount at participating vendors discretion.

Military Discount Programs 

On the first day of the campaign, veterans should visit the Register of Deeds Office in the County’s Administration II Building, located at 201 E. Main Street.

Thank-A-Vet identification cards will be issued other times, Monday-Friday, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. (excluding holidays) in the Register of Deeds office.
