Durham County Stormwater and Erosion Control Division now accepts Electronic Payments for Plan Review, Permit, Stream Determination, and Reinspection Fees.

In order to make an online payment, please follow the following steps:

  1. Click HERE
  2. Select Payment Type from the dropdown menu
  3. In the "Account Number":
    • For New Projects enter your PROJECT NAME
    • For Existing Projects, enter your Job Control Number, or JCN (example 1234-05)
  4. Click Continue
  5. On the "Payment Information" Page, enter the required information, payment amount, and payment method.
    • For Credit/Debit Card Payments, there is a 2.95% surcharge
    • For eCheck or Bank Account Payments, there is a $1.00 surcharge
  6. Click Continue
  7. On the "Confirm Payment" Page, you will see the total charge, including surcharge, to be charged to your account
  8. Click the Pay Button to finalize payment
  9. You will receive an email receipt to the email address provided on the "Payment Information" Page
