Project Description

This project involves the renovation of the ground and first floors of the Durham County Administration Building I, which were previously occupied by the Register of Deeds and Tax Administration Department. Various other departments within the building require expansion due to service needs, and many of the departments currently occupy multiple floors. This project will consolidate departments, improve functional adjacencies, and address building issues that were identified during the building condition assessment and programming efforts.

The building will be continuously occupied during the renovation and construction will be phased.
