Rules for Public Comment on Agenda Items
  • Everyone wishing to address the Board must sign up to speak prior to the start of the meeting but not before 6:30 p.m. 
  • If you have signed up to speak, the Board Chair will call your name at the appropriate time. Please proceed to the podium located at the left front of the room and await your turn.
  • Each individual shall only be entitled to their allotted 2 minutes (for consent agenda items) or 3 minutes. Time allotment is at the discretion of the Board Chair.
  • Due to time constraints, the Board Chair may limit the overall time for public comment on any agenda item.
  • Specific references to County employees or matters appropriate for closed session will not be permitted.
  • Please make your comments to the Board and not towards other participants or the audience.
  • Rebuttals may or may not be allowed at the discretion of the Board Chair.
How to Sign Up to Speak

Complete the Public Comment Regarding Agenda Item form and submit it to the Clerk prior to the start of the meeting; Public Comment forms are also provided at the meeting.
