The Go Triangle improves our region’s quality of life by connecting people and places with reliable, safe, and easy-to-use travel choices that reduce congestion and energy use, save money, and promote sustainability, healthier lifestyles, and a more environmentally responsible community. 

The Board operates regional bus and shuttle service, paratransit services, and ridematching, vanpools, provides commuter resources, an emergency ride home program, hosts TriangleTransit.org and GoTriangle.org. The agency also helps to implement future regional transit improvements as a member of the GoTriangle family of services.

The Go Triangle Board of Trustees, formerly the Triangle Transit Authority, is governed by a 13-member board. Ten members are appointed by the region’s principal municipalities and counties to staggered four-year terms. Three ex officio non-voting members are appointed by the North Carolina Secretary of Transportation.
