Durham, N.C. – The Durham County Board of Elections is gearing up for Election Day, scheduled for Tuesday, November 5, 2024. On Election Day, 59 polling locations across the county are open from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. All voters in line by 7:30 p.m. will be permitted to vote.
Durham County voters who did not vote in-person during early voting or by-mail will need to vote at their designated Election Day precinct. To find your Election Day polling place, you can use the North Carolina State Board of Elections (NCSBE) Polling Place Lookup Tool to locate your precinct.
Voter turnout is anticipated to be strong with enthusiastic participation from county voters. Approximately 58% of registered voters chose to take part in early voting, indicating a high level of engagement ahead of Election Day.
We are excited about the record early voting turnout in Durham County. We are hopeful for a strong and steady Election Day turnout, which we will be prepared for across our 59 polling places.
