The Gang Reduction Strategy Steering Committee ( a group of community leaders representing the City, County, court system, law enforcement, the school district, local institutions of higher learning and the nonprofit community) coordinates and consolidates multiple agency and community efforts to ensure a coordinated community wide approach to reduce criminal activity committed by gang members.
