Facts:
- The Durham County Information Services and Technology (IS&T) Department will host a 90-minute seminar entitled “Everyone’s a Target: How Cyber Criminals Are Targeting You and How to Stop Them.”
- The seminar will provide attendees with information on steps residents can take to be more proactive in the war against cybercriminals and protecting personal information.
- Small businesses, non-profit organizations and anyone interested in staying safe online is invited to attend the free seminar.
- IS&T’s goal is to provide a resource for small businesses and non-profits concerned about the threat of a cyber-attack and restricted by limited information security resources.
- Lenovo Chief Security Officer Jerry Fralick will be the guest speaker for the event.
