In commemoration of National Recovery Month, the Durham County Criminal Justice Resource Center (CJRC) will host a Recovery Celebration on September 19th, 2013 12 noon to 7 PM.  The event will honor the efforts of residents recovering from substance abuse and mental health disorders and the service providers in the community that help to make recovery a reality.  The event theme is Together on the Pathways to Wellness and will feature a variety of activities to promote health and well-being on the road to recovery.  Some of the activities planned include healthy food prep demos, health screenings, recovery poster contest, live music, food, door prizes and more.  For more information, check out the Durham Celebrates Recovery facebook page.
