November and December typically mark the beginning of the holiday season. This means that many people travel, spend time with family and friends, and have a good time. Some people may feel that diabetes gets in the way during the holiday season. They feel like they have to choose between enjoying themselves or taking care of their diabetes. However, it doesn’t have to be that way. Join this presentation for strategies for healthy holidays with diabetes. A light lunch will be provided. Contact Chelsea Hawkins 919-560-7223 or chawkins@dconc.gov for more information or to register. You can also register online at https://seam.ly/yN6tQkeo. You do NOT have to have diabetes to attend.
