Permitted Industrial User Submittals
Review the below guidance for compliance submittals. Click the applicable submittal type for specific instructions. All files submitted MUST be named per the required naming convention. If the required naming convention is not followed appropriately and Durham County is unable to decipher the submittal, the files will not be reviewed for compliance. This may lead to a violation if not corrected within the reporting period timeframe. |
1. Signed and Certified by the Authorized Representative of the User per section 26-132 (3) of the Durham County Sewer Use Ordinance. |

1. A letter requesting ATC listing all proposed pretreatment units signed by the Authorized Representative of the User. Reference the "Authorization to Construct Guidance" document, if needed. |
2. Plumbing plans for construction, stamped by a NC certified PE, with room details and highlighted process waste lines that show origination and use of all drain lines tied to pretreatment units. Durham County may require a meeting to discuss proposed changes. |
3. All applicable specification sheets, schematics, details, etc. |
4. Industry will be invoiced per the current Durham County Utilities Fee Schedule at the time of submittal. |

1. Answer all questions on the "IWS & Permit Application - Long Form" and have it signed by the Authorized Representative of the User per section 26-132 (3) of the Durham County Sewer Use Ordinance. |
2. Include all requested attachments such as site plan, flow schematics, etc. |
3. Industry will be invoiced per the current Durham County Utilities Fee Schedule at the time of submittal. |
