Employee-led groups sponsored by Durham County Government which align with the Strategic Plan goals and initiatives

ERGs are supported administratively and financially by the Office of Equitable Well-Being in partnership with the Department of Human Resources
Who can participate in Employee Resource Groups?
- DCo employees who support the specific ERG's goals and are in good standing
- Any allies wanting to contribute and/or learn more about the specific ERG's focus area
- Anyone willing to use their network and resources to uplift and partner with the ERG
What are the next steps in launching Employee Resource Groups?

The Equitable Well-Being team will support the roll-out and success of ERGs over the next 9 months by:

Helping launch 2 pilot ERGs (Early Career Professionals in Government and Women in Public Safety)

Hosting a Supervisor FAQ and Open House in the Summer to learn more about ERGs and answer key questions and address concerns

Hosting an Executive Sponsor Training for new and interested Executive Sponsors in the Summer

Conducting a DCo-wide survey of interest and commitment for up to 3 additional ERGs in the Summer

Supporting the launch of up to 3 additional ERGs in the Fall
