Office of Tax Administration
In Durham County, Tax Assessor and Tax Collector are combined into a single office responsible for listing, appraising and assessing real and personal property. The Office of Tax Administration is also responsible for the maintenance of all property maps, property ownership changes, collection of all current and delinquent taxes, room occupancy taxes; collection of fees associated with solid waste, sewer, street assessments, Beer and Wine Licenses, as well as county owned parking facilities.
