Flu Shots Now Available for 2016-2017 Season 

Flu season is officially here.  Getting a flu vaccine every year is the best way to protect yourself and your family from the flu.  We now offer seasonal influenza (flu) shots in the Immunization Clinic, 1st Floor, Clinic 6.  Walk ins are welcome, but must be registered by 4:30PM.

 

Mondays  & Fridays  8:30AM-4:30PM

 

Pricing is based on a sliding scale.  Cash, check, credit cards, and some insurance plans are acceptable forms of payment.  Youth ages six (6) months to 18 who are not insured qualify for a state-supplied vaccine at no cost.  

Insurance is not required to receive a flu shot.  Individuals with insurance are asked to bring their insurance cards.  Only injectable flu shots are recommended for use this season.

Flu Symptoms Include:

  • A 100oF or higher fever or feeling feverish (not everyone with the flu has a fever)
  • A cough and/or sore throat
  • A runny or stuffy nose
  • Headaches and/or body aches
  • Chills
  • Fatigue
  • Nausea, vomiting, and/or diarrhea (most common in children)
