Veteran Services To Close for Training
Limited Services Offered On Location During Training
Durham, NC – Residents seeking veteran support services should note the temporary closing of the Durham County Veteran Services Office the week of April 3 through April 7, 2017. During that week, limited services will be available to veterans and their families while the County Veteran Services staff attend an annual accreditation training. The office will resume full services with normal business hours, at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, April 10th.
Veterans experiencing non-medical emergencies should contact the North Carolina Department of Military and Veterans Affairs Office in Raleigh at (984) 204-2979. Veterans in need of immediate assistance with applying for Veterans Affairs Healthcare can contact the Durham Veterans Affairs Medical Center, located at 508 Fulton Street, or by calling (919) 286-0411.
