Durham, NC – Early voting for the 2025 Municipal General Election in Durham County begins Thursday, October 16, and continues through Saturday, November 1. 

Residents of the City of Durham, Town of Chapel Hill, Town of Cary, and the Town of Morrisville who reside within the boundaries of Durham County are eligible to participate. To determine if you are eligible, click here to check your registration record.  

During the early voting period, eligible residents may vote at any of the following five early voting sites:

 

• North Regional Library - 221 Milton Road, Durham, NC 27712 

• East Regional Library - 211 Lick Creek Lane, Durham, NC 27703 

• South Regional Library - 4505 S. Alston Avenue, Durham, NC 27713 

• Durham County Board of Elections - 3825 S. Roxboro Street, Durham, NC 27713 

• NCCU - Turner Law Building - 640 Nelson Street, Durham, NC 27707

Things to know before you go: 

 

• Early voting is one of Durham County’s most popular voting options. Use the early voting site locator and a wait-time application to find the most convenient site for you. 

• Same-Day Registration is available at all early voting sites. Voters who need to register can do so on-site by providing proof of residence.
